The Annual Crockett Road Church of Christ Youth Group "Chili Cook-Off" was held after the evening services on March 31, 2019. We had eleven entries in the chili cook-off contest, and any of the entries would have been a good meal for anyone to enjoy. The winners this year are pictured in the large picture to the left. They are (left to right); Amanda Lane - 1st place; R.D. Prince - 2nd place; and Audrey Manuel - 3rd place.
There was also a silent auction for the cakes and other desserts that were donated for the get-together. There were all kinds of delicious desserts that were available for the sweet lovers in the crowd. The youngest who prepared desserts were Kahlei Franklin, Susan Lane and Haylee Krumnow. The youngest purchasers were Brison Brooks, Avery Bell, Tristin Brooks, and Gracie Gurganus. The dessert that brought the highest bid was a banana pudding made by Kathy Chambless and purchased by Jim Ricard for the price of $271. The Brooks family purchased the most desserts for a total of $360 that was donated to the youth group. The youth group took in almost $3000 after all the the donations for the chili supper and the bake sale were totaled. We really appreciate all of those who attended. Below is a list of those who prepared and purchased each dessert.

The March Monday Night for the Master was another fun night where we came together to eat a good meal together and to do various things around the church building. We had another good meal of Mazzio's pizza and a homemade salad that Shelly Franklin prepared. We also had some delicious desserts that Carol Ann Cartwright, Pam Gallaway, Joyce Matlock, Jane Grumbles, and Sharon Carder prepared for everyone. We would like to thank them for the wonderful desserts. Everything was delicious! After a good meal together, we split up into groups and performed various tasks that needed to be done both inside and outside the building. The next Monday Night for the Master will be held on April 29th. We hope to see you there.

The Monday Night For The Master is held on the last Monday of each month. Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend with us. There are several things that need to be done each month that range from signing get-well cards to replacing light bulbs to putting visitor's cards in the pews as well as other small jobs. It is a wonderful way to serve our Lord, and it is a great way to fellowship with fellow Christians.
