Our Lads to Leaders kids really appreciate everyone coming out to tonight’s spaghetti supper. Our kids truly enjoy hosting this dinner and are becoming pros at making a spaghetti dinner! They did a great job decorating, preparing the meal (with some supervision, but are taking on more and more of it it every year) and serving. They were really encouraged by everyone in attendance! Thank you so much, Crockett Road Church of Christ Family, for always offering such loving support to our young people.

Thanks so much to everyone involved with Lamp Camp 2024! We had a great time learning more about God’s word through reading and discussing scripture, singing together, crafting and playing some pretty intense Bible memory games. The s‘mores were delicious, too!
We really appreciate the parents and grandparents who brought their children to Lamp Camp. Our youth group really enjoyed putting it on, and we are so appreciative to our middle school and high school students who assisted. We also want to offer a special thank you to Tiffany Bell (all 3 nights!), Brandon Franklin and Holly Franklin for helping out.
We appreciate Doug and Alison Rader for all of their hard work in finding fun ways to teach the youth of the church. They are always going the extra mile in making sure that we have an active youth group, and we appreciate them very much.

Paul Cartwright was our guest speaker, and he spoke on being Committed to Biblical Truth. It was a great lesson on what real truth is in contrast to what the world claims is truth. We really appreciate Paul for the wonderful lesson and Doug Rader for leading us in singing.
Following the lesson and singing, everyone moved to that activity building to enjoy a meal together. It was a great night!

The Ladies Class Luncheon was held on April 30th after the Ladies Bible class. In the past, everyone has brought a covered dish for the luncheon, but this year was different. Jeannette Alford and Jill Camp prepared all of the food for this years event. The meal consisted of green salad (with all the trimmings), mexican spaghetti, mexican casserole, garlic bread, and several desserts. Everything was delicious!!! After the meal, they allowed everyone to make a to-go plate to take home.
Jill and Jeannette are valuable members in the Lord's church. They not only labor to make sure meals are always prepared and hot for church functions, but they also teach Sunday School. The Annual Give Me the Bible Banquet was held on January 27, 2024 at the Crockett Road Church of Christ. We had Christians from numerous churches of Christ from Texas and Arkansas attend. The day started off where everyone enjoyed breakfast items and visiting together. Following that we had congregational singing before hearing a very good lesson from Dan Manuel on the subject of "Help and Hope." Following the lesson, we were able to enjoy hearing the Give Me the Bible panelists speak on the "Seven Final Statements Made By Jesus On The Cross." Panelists Joe Hancock, Barry Haynes, Jerry Monholland, Kerry Clark, Kris Groda, James Bivins, Scout Betz, and Rocky Whitely each covered the seven different statements that Jesus made while hanging on the cross. It was a very good program that was enjoyed by everyone.
Following the program and some more congregational singing, Kris Groda (Give Me the Bible YouTube Coordinator) gave an update/report on the number of views on YouTube and the importance of us sharing the videos for maximum viewership.
Christian book authors, Dr. John Hobbs and James Bivins , had tables set-up where those in attendance could purchase books. (You can go to their website by clicking on their name)
We then had a delicious meal of Barbeque brisket, fried chicken, potato salad, beans, and all the trimmings, as well as homemade pies for dessert.
Following the meal, we had more congregational singing and then a very good lesson by Randy Foreman on "Fishers of Men."
We would like to thank Jeannette Alford, Jill Camp, Steve Camp, Donna Costlow, and Linda Hawkins for all of their hard work to make sure the delicious meal was prepared, for working the kitchen, and for keeping the serving line stocked with food. We appreciate all of their hard work in making sure that everything was so good.
